H.I.M. Screamworks, Love in Theory and Practice Review

HIM were one of the first large Metal exports that came out of Suomi and they really had an edge to them back in the day. Since then the ice have melted and the Koskenkorva barrels has run dry. Out has a polished Ville vallo stepped out now he can be mistaken for anyone of the mainstream cultural elite. That would be OK if the band continued to produce twisted dark rock music, making bands like the Rasmus and Nightwish sound like music for kids.

Screamworks, Love in Theory and Practice sound awfully close to Sunrise Avenue and that should be considered as an insult for a once great band like HIM. The 69 Eyes, Nightwish and the lot of the Finish bands stay true to their dark vein but HIM is going lightweight POP all the way and it is a huge disappointment.
