BREAKING BENJAMIN Dear Agony Review

The recognition factor is sky high and if you dig the Pennsylvania outfit fronted by Benjamin Burnley you will like Dear Agony. Breaking Benjamin has been around for some ten years now and Dear Agony is their fourth album.

Dear Agony picks up where Phobia ended. Hard Melodic Rock bordering to Alternative Metal that is shamelessly commercial, yet the strong choruses never become to wimpy.

The harder songs stand out as better, "I Will Not Bow", "Hopeless" and "Lights Out" (all co written with Jasen Rauch of the band RED) stand out.

But we guess that really depend on your taste in music since "What Lies Beneath", "Give Me A Sign" and "Dear Agony" all probably will become a successful radio singles since they sound like what's on spin on mainstream radio.

They actually sound a bit like Nickelback at moments (that we don't like that much).

Anyway, Dear Agony deliver and is just what could be expected both by those who love as well as those that hate the band.
